DOE Optics

DOE (diffractive optical elements) uses specialized optical components designed to manipulate and control the phase and amplitude of light waves. They are widely used in various applications, including laser beam shaping, pattern generation, and optical signal processing.

This is critical in applications like telecommunications and microelectronics.

We use it to separate a single laser beam into multiple beams, a diffractive beam splitter. It uses a micro relief structure on the face of an optical window, causing the light to diffract in a pre-designed pattern. We tailor the micro structures heights to create a phase delay for the wavelength in order to cause the desired beam configuration. We work with a German vendor to offer customized configurations.
